My head is filled with so many readings I don’t know if I have time to reflect. I often think there is no need to reflect. Things are happening so fast; it feels as if time is rolling over us. 2020 or 2021 feel like the same year. It is hard to make any sane conclusion of what has taken place. The world, by all means, is inside an avalanche. It is hard to think. We barely have time to take a grasp into a shocking reaction to every new shock we see.
While I try to escape in reading maybe, an attempt to balance sanity, one thing helps for sure. The world has never been a good safe place to live. The fight between good and evil is eternal. Good wins always.. but for a minimal and short time. Somehow, love is the only thing that remains an inspiring breakthrough in all times… in books then.. as in life now…
Anyway.. my challenge in 2021 was to break my 2020 record of readings of a hundred books. And I am proud to say I did it. Thanks to the great audio reading option that made everything in my day more worthy.. walking, driving, cooking, cleaning, planting, watering, traveling, waiting, and every possible moment on my own. I really made it into 126 readings in an average of 10 hours per reading. It is amazing how much time we can find…
It felt good to realize that my time did not go to a complete waste… After all… our life passes into a complete waste, and we are always too late to realize and make any change.
